Dear Family, Friends, and Supporters: I am writing to wish you and your wonderful families a Happy Holiday Season. As things move forward with the resentencings of prisoners who formerly received life without parole (LWOP) sentences when they were juveniles ("juvenile lifers"), my family and I remain hopeful that this could be perhaps the final year I remain physically separated from them. It is our prayer that I will be able to return home and join them once again after a painful absence of nearly 28 years. To help make this a reality I am asking each of you to please spend some time over the holiday season sharing this petition link and inviting family and friends to sign and share it on their social media pages, via e-mail, and any listservs they may have access to during family gatherings, at church services, and other holiday events. This will also be very helpful as we work to spread the word about my campaign for freedom.
