Currently Family Law is favouring Fathers who are able to take mothers to Court for no reason other than spite.

I am requesting a change to the law to give Mothers straight custody of the children with regular access to their Fathers.

To refuse those Fathers any applications to the Law and Courts, providing the children are safe.

On that basis Fathers should have an automatic right to see the children as follow:
 - Friday pm to Sunday pm every other weekend.
 -One week in Christmas Holidays.
 -One week in Easter holidays.
 -Two weeks in Summer holidays (for children under 8 years of age taken separately).

This will give greater stability to the children and parents after the break up and provide both parties with an instant and fair contact with children, avoiding parental argues to disrupt children lives.

Prevent children to be dragged to see Social Workers unnecessarily, which puts lots of pressure on them.

Prevent parents to use children as a weapon in contact battles.

At the moment children of 10 years of age are given an enormous burden to carry on a life changing decision, some 10 years old are not mature enough to cross the road by themselves! 

All this will save the Government significant amount of money but, most importantly, release Social Workers and the Court to concentrate and prioritise the most serious and urgent cases that sometimes can go under the radar.
