12 states including Texas already have state dogs. With Pit Bulls being one of the top five dogs in Oklahoma, I say we make it our state dog. This would also shine a light on what a great bread the American Pit Bull terrier really is, and with its no nonsense attitude,and loyal spirit I feel the American Pit Bull terrier would represent us very well.
