Selective outrage is not outrage; it is targeting: No Taxation Without Representation

Feel free to share my PDF document/QR Code/link in part or in its entirety, it qualifies as an official public record. If local news agencies won’t report the truth about what is going on in my local school district, then I’ll start publicly sharing my own facts. The file may take a minute to upload, especially if you use your phone. If you have difficulties uploading and opening the file, contact me directly and I will email the file directly to you (damon_barone@hotmail.com).
If the things which I have been complaining about, and shedding light on in Alief ISD for the last 7 years were to happen in the Houston Independent School District (HISD), HISD would be the featured story on every local and state wide news channels. At some point people have to begin to wonder why HISD is the only school district that garnishes media coverage every single day/week/month/year. Selective outrage is not outrage; it is targeting.
For many years now, I have followed Alief ISD's informal and formal grievance processes. I speak at patron presentation opportunities at all school board meetings and public meetings held by the district. I have filed complaints to the Texas Education Agency. I have filed a pro se law suit in the Harris County Court House against the district and the school board. I have attempted to utilize any and all policies and procedures which the district has in writing. I have run for the school board twice. All to no avail, yielding more discrimination and retaliation towards my family and I by Alief ISD/district staff and the school board/school board members.
A little-known secret about my aspirations to go to law school: My on-going interactions with Alief ISD is what inspired me to have aspirations to go to law school. I firmly believe that EVERYONE deserves fair, honest, and reputable legal representation, and I desire to be the voice of those whom should receive justice, but because they are not financially able to afford quality legal representation, or any representation at all for that matter, they get taken advantage of because of their lack of knowledge, lack of resources, or lack of funds.
I want to be an attorney of the people, by the people, for the people!
