Maybe the Pot Should Stop Calling the Kettle White, and Focus on Student Outcomes

The Texas Commissioner of Education Mike Morath is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. I hope this clears up any regurgitation of foolishness that he is a white male that doesn’t care about black or brown kids, and that is the reason he is taking over HISD. All y’all local PROFESSIONAL politicians rallying against him in your BLACK circles, that’s your Frat Brother. Maybe now we can start focusing on the student outcomes that CAUSED the intervention of the Houston Independent School District, improperly titled as a takeover. Morath did not write the laws that allows TEA to intervene in a school district, nor did he contribute in anyway with the failing academics of the students that lawfully gives him the authority to INTERVENE in a school district. Last but not least, he was not on the school board of HISD when they were violating governance laws and NOT focused on student outcomes. If I am not mistaken, his kids also attend public schools too.
