Most school board members:

-Never attended a school board meeting prior to when they decided to run.

-Are actually using their school board position as a springboard for other endeavors they desire.

-Is a volunteer positions which they give minimal time and effort to

-Whereas district staff are giving 40 plus hours a week 160 plus hours per month

-Police shows the inmates tell the guards you are only here for 8 hours we live here -When the cat is gone the mouse will play

-Hidden items are approved with the obvious items

-Raises: 8% raise to staff also gives 8% raise to the superintendent

-8% of the salary of a teacher making $60,000 is $4,800, or $177 per pay check

-8% of the salary of Alief superintendent who makes about $450,000 is $36,000, or $1,333 per pay check.

-Intentionally misleading items are approved with obvious items

-Vote doesn’t account for taxes

-Doesn’t account for the fact that the district already knows next year the health insurance premiums will increase and the district intends to pass the cost on to the employees or not increase the portion which the district pays

-Limited open enrollment for one school but you voted for the entire district

-Limited open enrollment with no expiration date

-Employee contracts with no start date or end date
