I notice that the failing schools are in zip codes that have the highest poverty rate, so I question why some of the piloted programs or initiatives are not placed there? I also remember hearing something about missing children [in Alief], and my concern is that the children are not missing. The last time I checked there is a truancy law, so they are enrolled in school somewhere, they are not missing. If they are not in school after almost a year now then I would presume that the courts and the legal system would be taking president over that [issue], so can you expand or expound on missing children. Do you mean they are enrolled in other schools? Because clearly, they are not, not enrolled somewhere. Thank you.

So, they are enrolled in schools, just not in Alief schools? I am concerned about Alief. I am specifically talking about Alief.

I notice that the failing schools are in particular zip codes that have the highest poverty [rate], and according to the risk load assessment I am wondering why some of these piloted programs are not being done there? I remember [12/15/2020 school board meeting] Mr. Cherry talking about the reason why they chose the [Bush] elementary school or the facility that they chose is because the administrator [Principal Gloria Harris-Price] was, for lack of better words, chased him into the parking lot and demanded or requested that they have the program there on her campus. That doesn’t sound like data was chosen to select that campus, more so the desire of the administrator.
