If our children came home and tried to lie/mislead us about their own grades in the same manner that Superintendent Chambers is trying to deceive the public about the districts school ratings we would punish them.

If a teacher in our classrooms tried to lie/mislead us about their students grades in the same manner that Superintendent Chambers is trying to deceive the public about the districts school ratings the teacher would be recommended for termination to the school board by the Superintendent.

On Alief ISD’s website regarding the TEA accountability rating, Superintendent Chambers stated that 90% of the district’s campuses received A’s, B’s, ORC’s. What that looks like without the HD Chambers spin factor is the district’s campuses EARNED 24 C’s, 10 B’s, 4 A’s, 3 D’s, and 1 F.

NOW LETS DO THE MATH!

24 C’s out of 42 schools is 57% (57% of Alief ISD’s schools EARNED not received a C accountability rating).

10 B’s out of 42 schools is 24%  (24% of Alief ISD’s schools EARNED not received a B accountability rating).

4 A’s out of 42 school is 10%  (10% of Alief ISD’s schools EARNED not received an A accountability rating).

3 D’s out of 42 schools is 7%  (7% of Alief ISD’s schools EARNED not received a D accountability rating).

1 F out of 42 schools is 2%  (2% of Alief ISD’s schools EARNED not received a F accountability rating).

The truth sounds completely different without the spin, fluff, deceit, slide of hand, and misdirection doesn’t it?

We deserve better from our district leadership!
