Alief Board Policies BED (Legal) and BED (Local) labeled Board Meeting Public Participation does not state that it is prohibited for presenters to mention district employee names when voicing concerns or complaints.
President Ann Williams On May 06, 2019 during the meeting with you, Superintendent Chambers and Damon Barone, you and Superintendent Chambers were recorded explaining to Mr. Barone in great detail how the two of you, the board, and district administrators intentionally violate district policies and procedures when it comes to any and all of Mr. Barone’s district grievances and concerns. But you all as a board are mad at Mr. Barone because he keeps fighting for his rights. Despite the fact that President Williams and Superintendent Chambers willfully and intentional lie and violate the educators code of ethics and the administrators code of ethics.
President Williams this makes Mr. Barone question your ethics as a teacher in Spring ISD. Are these the same type of unethical practices you engage in within your classroom or the district which you work for?
The Alief school boards lack of knowledge of polices and procedures and willingness to violate policies, procedures, laws, and ethics is the reason why the board consistently engages in governance violations.
Trustee Rick Moreno during the January 15, 2019 school board meeting you referred to yourself as a dumb paramedic, yet you brag at board meetings about being a paramedic for over 30 years. If your paid 30 plus year job allows you to be dumb while saving people’s lives each day, than one can only assume that you have been extra dumb as a 12 year volunteer school board trustee who continues to willfully give up your governance authority to Superintendent Chambers organized crime unit.
Trustee Jenifer Key on March 05, 2019 during the Superintendent Evaluation Committee Meeting you openly argued with President Ann Williams stating that you had been on the board for two years now and that you were no longer a new board member; this, Mr Barone wants to use those words to hold you accountable for allowing Superintendent Chambers to hoodwink the Alief board into creating his own superintendent evaluation tool, which contributed to the board renewing his contract, and giving him a pay increase. Yet Alief still has six elementary school in improvement required status, Alief student enrollment has continued to decline for the past eight years because parents are taking their children out of Alief schools and putting them in the charter schools located within the district, all while HD Chambers admitted at the September 04, 2018 school board meeting that he had not been monitoring elementary school data because he was focused on high school graduation rates, yet Mr. Chambers also sits on the board for Early Matters.
Trustee Natasha Butler on June 19, 2019 you posted on Facebook why you voted no to the districts proposed pay increases and was attacked on your Facebook page by Alief ISD’s Director of Public Relations Kimberly Smith. Employee Kimberly Smith’s social media post on your page attacking her boss was offensive, inaccurate and done during work hours yet Alief Director of Public Relations Kimberley Smith still has her job getting paid off of Mr. Barone’s tax money because she is a part of Superintendent Chambers’ organized crime unit. Yet the district routinely makes recommendations to fire teachers for the same type of alleged negative social media exposure, or LESS, and the board votes yes every time to terminate those teachers. The boards lack of action against employee Kimberly Smith has once again set a President in the inequities of how the Alief school board governs.
Vice President Darlene Breaux you vote yes to every thing that the Alief administrators place in front of you. Presumably because you whole heartedly believe in the due diligence of the district administrators. But Damon Barone questions where your faith in the alief administrators was when you lived in alief and worked for the alief ISD, yet you never had faith enough to enroll either of your children an Alief school. Instead you opted to drive past alief schools each and every day from elementary school through high school to drop your children off at private school.
Trustee John Nguyen during the April 02, 2019 school board meeting you sat outside and watched the Elsik soccer game instead of coming inside to the board meeting where all the decisions about Mr. Barone’s children and their community are made. Now while you are currently sitting on the alief school board voting yes to everything HD Chambers puts in front of your face you have also placed your name in the Houston city council race for District F. Which Mr. Barone is sure that it is not coincidental that district F is the district which the alief administration building (housing most of Superintendent Chambers organized crime unity)and the international management district buildings is located. These two groups alone I. District F manages all of the schools and the economic business development in Alief.
Trustee Lily Truong you get paid to educate Alief teens and adults at Elsik high school so you are financially bonded to the Alief administrators elicit activities, and also vote yes to everything that HD Chambers and his administrators put in front of your face.
On June 19, 2019 Immediate past Alief school board trustee Tiffany Thomas posted on current school board trustee Natasha Butlers Facebook page that “the average Texan reads on an 8th grade level”. If this statement by former Alief Trustee Tiffany Thomas is to be believed, then imagine the number of Alief taxpayers, parents, students and community members that Alief ISD has taken advantage of because of our alleged inability to read and our lack of resources to fight.
What a person or organization does serves as proof of what they believe.
Alief school board elections are coming up in November of 2019. Make sure that you vote!
