FUNDING IS NOT THE PROBLEM YOUR WASTEFUL SPENDING IS (Don’t let Alief fool you)

Alief ISD does not have a funding problem the district has a spending problem. That is two completely different scenarios. The district receives MORE THAN ENOUGH funding. How Alief continues to spend the funds that it receives is the school districts problem. 48% of Alief ISD’s entire district budget is spent on administrative salaries not related to a school campus, not funding education, not funding education programs, and not funding teachers. Ironically the only people showing up at the school board meetings each month are the handful of (10-12 at the most) district administrators that soak up 48% of the districts over all budget, presumably to protect their monthly district inheritance, called a salary. It is not rocket science. In the real world a person would not keep their corvette as a family vehicle and force their family to live in a one bedroom apartment. The smarter decision would be for that same individual to give up their corvette for a sedan and invest in a home for the entire family to live comfortably. It might be time to give up a few of the district Corvettes called administrators so that the entire district can live comfortably, I.E. not in a 6 million dollar deficit.
Alief school board elections are coming up in November of 2019. Make sure that you vote!
