Who Is Representing Our Community?

Research has shown that systems perform best when internal diversity reflects the diversity of the environment. 

Alief ISD Student Population:

52.7% is Hispanic

28.7% is African American

12.3% is Asian

4.1% is White

1.3% is American Indian

.7% is Pacific Islander

.7% is Mixed with two or more races

Now I task Alief taxpayers, voters, parents, and district staff to go to the Alief Administration Building (4250 Cook Road, Houston, TX. 77072) where all of the decisions of our district are made and tell me if the percentages add up to equitable representation of our community.
