The quote of the night.
“If we listen to TEA, Board Members would have no control.”
-Alief School Board President Ann Joseph Williams
It is easy to see why my school district is in the shape that it is in. Between Superintendent Chamber’s organized crime unit and the mentality and misunderstanding of the School Board President and board members, policies and procedures JUST DO NOT SEEM TO MATTER. Let’s be reminded that the Texas Education Agency (TEA) is the state agency that oversees primary and secondary public education. School Board President and Spring ISD Educator Ann Joseph Williams gets Aliefs Donkey of The Day Award. If TEA does not want Aliefs School Board to have any control over the district then it is probably for a good reason, especially when Superintendent Chambers openly expressed during April’s Board Workshop that he has NEVER looked at district retention rates in the 7 years that he has been Aliefs Superintendent. Help save Alief from this foolishness.
