This is the Houston Chronicle article that was being discussed Tuesday (04/03/2018) in Alief ISD's School Board Work Shop, which Alief ISD Executive Director of Curriculum and Instruction, Kathleen Jahn mysteriously did not have any supporting data or updated data to defend her argument that the Houston Chronicle allegedly used outdated data when reporting the article. The true problem is that when Reporter Jennifer Radcliffe reached out to Alief Administrators for their opportunity to defend the data, the Houston Chronicle got the usual we got something to hide and never take accountability for our actions response from Alief Administrators, lead by Superintendent Henry David Chambers, "Alief ISD, which also had a number of elementaries with double-digit retentions, refused multiple requests for comment." #TrustButVerify #AliefProud #AliefParent #AliefTaxPayer #AskHD #LoweringTheStandardsForAdministrators #LackOfAccoutability #LackOfTransparency
