Thank you for your support! Thank you for believing in science and speaking up about the flaws in our public health education system. We cannot deny the existence of Trans*, Intersex,  and non-binary people in our lives, in our schools, and around the world! 

We need to continue to rally support to include the gender-spectrum in our health learning curriculum, as the refusal to do so will only continue to cause harm to affected youth - this harm comes all too often in the form of bullying and harassment and results in self-harm and injurious behavior from those affected youth. 

We need to teach our youth the difference between sex and gender, and affirm in appropriate educational settings that it is okay to be transgender, Intersex, and non-binary - that these are completely natural and valid forms of identity and expression.
