Now that the NSW State Election is over and the Results are official it's congratulations to the following elected Members of Parliament
Ms Charisma Kaliyanda MP Member for Liverpool
Ms Tina Ayyad MP Member for Holsworthy
Mr Anoulack Chanthivong MP Member for Macquarie Fields
Mr Nathan Hagarty MP Member for Leppington
Ms Sally Quinell MP Member for Camden
Mrs Tanya Davies MP Member for Badgeries Creek
I look forward to working with Jo Haylen the new Minister for Transport and the newly elected and re-elected Members of Parliament to have the South West rail link exrended from Leppington Station to the new Western Sydney Airport to benefit the Residents and Commuters of South Western Sydney, the Southern Highlands and the Illawarra.
THE NEWS FOR THE SOUTH WEST RAIL LINE IS THAT......
"In a major announcement ahead of the March state election, Minns said Labor planned to connect the Western Sydney Airport Metro to the Northwest line as well as extending the project towards Macarthur and Glenfield in the city’s south-west."
"A business case to analyse costs and benefits of extending the new airport Metro south towards Macarthur and Glenfield would be jointly funded between state and federal governments, Minns said."

MAJOR COST BLOWOUTS
The newly elected NSW Labor will government launch a review into the Sydney Metro amid a $21bn cost blowout.
The Sydney Metro program will undergo a major review after it was revealed the cost of the public transport project had already blown out by $21bn.
The total cost of the city and south-west sections is $9bn over its initial estimated cost, with a current price tag of $20.5bn, according to the statement.
The independent review will examine delivery models, project governance and passenger impacts, and report on the best way to “resuscitate” the state’s transport infrastructure pipeline, the government said.

I will keep you informed of any further developments as I come across them with more regular updates once the new Government and MPs settle in.
The second Multi Level Carpark at Edmondson Park is proceeding well and will provide another 1000 carparking spaces when it's completed.
The paper petition is on hold until I can find out if the South West rail link from Leppington Station will continue as a Heavy guage rail link or be converted into a Metro line.
