In response to ongoing community concerns, Liverpool City Council hosted a community information forum last night to provide residents with the opportunity to discuss important issues relating to development in Edmondson Park. Key stakeholders including NSW Public Transport - NSW GOV, Roads and Maritime Services, NSW Department of Education, Frasers Property Australia and Landcom Places were invited and had been expected to send representatives. The forum was to address the following community concerns: • lack of parking at Edmondson Park Train Station; • traffic issues, including the upgrade of Bernera Road; • Edmondson Park Town Centre; and • infrastructure upgrades in the area. Unfortunately, Transport for NSW and Dept for Education representatives were unable to attend. I was in attendance and spoke to the Liverpool Council CEO and other LCC representatives but obviously was unable to speak to Transport from NSW and provide them with your feedback from the petition comments section as I had planned to do. For those who attended THANK YOU for your Time and Effort overall I think last night was quite success to at least make our Community views heard to Liverpool Council Staff and they will be passing them on to the relevant State Government Departments.
