There are no spike or surprise in any of these data. Surprising thing is that Superintendent Dr. Richard O'Malley mention that they dont have enough space to support Full day kindergartner but few schools comment to have enough space to support a full day kindergartner program Total 590 school districts in New Jersey and out of that 590 school districts total 478 districts supports Full Day kindergartner. and Edison school district is not in that list yet. Edison is the sixth largest school district in NJ, serving more than 14,000 children. The top five districts have full day KG or are planning on implementation starting in 2015 (Toms River) Recently Jackson and Randolph township adopt to support Full day kindergartner program from September 2015. Board member vote in favor of that support. Jackson is already running 37 trailers as classrooms and they still willing to support Full day kindergartner from this year.
