As most parents and students are complaining, the schools in New Jersey Edison board of Education are taxing the students in the name of Home works and Use of Technology. With the use of Chrome books and Mac books there is a growing use of Gadgets in schools, the kids are using he gadgets right from the morning to as late of mid night. This is causing serious health issues for the students with the extensive use of gadgets. Many students are suffering from eye problems, chronic body pains , huge stress and other health issues with the extensive use of gadgets

Also, with the use of these gadgets, it looks like the teachers have outsourced their teaching to the likes of You tubes and Khan Academies. 

There is a huge load on the students in the form of Home works. Every Middle school and High school students are spending more than 5 to 6 hours just to complete home works and project works. Most of the home work are of absolute no relevance and value. Many teachers ask the students to view long you tube videos and write notes based on these videos. J P Stevens high school is the worst in this aspect. In the name of using technology, the students are burdened with huge volumes of homework. Edison education board is violating many of the guidelines given at the National level on the amount of home work that need to be given to the students. The kids are losing their precious sleep and are  under Undue pressure. This is causing severe stress on the students and it hampers their productivity and creativity . Is this level of pressure really required ? Teachers say that they are preparing the students for the college. please prepare them for the School level. Colleges will take care of the students when they go to college. 

We need immediate intervention of the authorities to 

- Reduce the Homework for the students so that they have enough sleep. 

- control the use of Mac books and chrome books for teaching learning process. 

- revert to old model of manual home works ( than online mode to reduce the ill effects of these gadgets on the kids ) 

- enable the students to sleep atleast 8 to 9 hours a day. 

PLEASE SAVE OUR KIDS.. WE NEED OUR KIDS TO ENJOY THEIR CHILDHOOD .. We don’t want them to get health issues because of huge , unwanted and irrelevant tasks in the name of homework. we want them to reduce the use of gadgets. Let the students take more interest in increasing the quality of teaching learning process rather than just extensive use of technology. It is Painful to see the kids going to school under stress.. 

PLEASE REDUCE THE HOMEWORKS and PROJECTS. Kids need to sleep atleast for 8 to 9 hours a day. Let them enjoy the childhood and also their school life . 

WE ARE SERIOUSLY CONCERNED ABOUT THE HEALTH AND LIFE OF OUR CHILDREN.. Health is wealth .. don’t kill the future generation in the name of Homework and use of technology..
