A big thank you to everyone who has signed the petition in the first 24 hours since it went live - we just passed 200 signatures!

Please keep sharing the petition around social media, friends, family etc.

We have other avenues we are pursuing to spread the word of this petition, as well as some future plans to raise the profile of the issue - more on that later.

A Clarification regarding dogs with mourners, and assistance dogs.

This petition has been updated with the following text today, to clarify an issue around dogs with mourners and assistance dogs.

PLEASE NOTE - WE REALISE EXCEPTIONS SHOULD BE MADE FOR DOGS ACCOMPANYING MOURNERS & ASSISTANCE DOGS. THEY MUST HOWEVER BE KEPT ON SHORT LEADS

The bereaved father has issued this statement:

"The petition has been updated, to clarify an issue around dogs with mourners and assistance dogs. Although it was not explicitly stated initially in the petition, this has always been my stance. Should the petition, and future actions be successful, there will be no change to this stance"

Thanks again for your support.
