On the morning of Edexcel’s paper 3 A Level Maths exam, the papers were found to be leaked. Some people had seen the entire paper hours before the test and had been able to prepare as such, giving these people an unfair advantage in a paper they might have struggled with otherwise. This means the grade boundaries will be higher than they should be and thus this may stop some people getting into their chosen Universities and furthering their future. Edexcel’s drastic failures this year mean it is only fair that in this paper, candidates should be given a raw mark equivalent to what they were predicted initially in order to level the playing field again.
