Dear Friends and supporters, thank you for your overwhelming response and support of Healing Waters and the Institutional Groups to the County of El Dorado. While the Board of Supervisors voted in favor of going forward with the changes to the RMP, the good news is that because of your support the Board spent a significant time at the meeting going over the impact to our organization. They were strong in their direction to County Staff to put some protections in the RMP so that we can go back to the Board in the future should the changes they are making threaten our organizations survival. They also directed County staff to work with us over the next three years to ensure that Healing Waters and the other groups have help and guidance as we attempt to transition to this permit structure. Without your overwhelming support we would not have gotten these concessions from the County. I want to personally thank you! We have an amazing network of supporters and friends and at the end of the day, you have not just helped our organization, but our clients who need us to continue to open doors for them to access these life changing experiences and support them on their healing journey.
