The Pittman Wash Trail is being bulldozed over and there are plans to replace the natural ecosystem with concrete. They have already begun bulldozing through the trees, plants, and animal habitats in the wash. This has been a home and place of refuge for humans and wildlife alike.

It's one of Henderson's hidden gems and has several channels of water and rivers running through it. I have been coming here several days a week for years. This is one of the few places that have provided me and others a place of peace and refuge. This trail has been a source of joy and calm in a world that has become increasingly chaotic.

Don't let Public Works ruin this labor of love that so many people have worked to nurture and protect. The eagle scouts, the Friends of Pittman Wash, and many more have poured time, energy, and love into this beautiful place. Be the change you want to see in the world and help make change in your community. 

Show the world you're the kind of person who doesn't sit idely by while injustices are being wrought upon the world we all love and live in!
