After taking a complete year of AP Environmental Science it has become clear to us that overconsumption is an epidemic that must be dealt with, or else future generations will be put at a disadvantage. In order to overcome overconsumption, it is imperative to educate the current generation about the negative environmental effects of overexploitation in order to preserve the Earth’s natural resources for future generations. When you sign this petition you vow to practice healthy conservation techniques such as donating old clothing or switching to clean energy,  while also teaching others the proper ways of conservation (i.e. recycling) when someone else in your community exhibits poor conservation habits.
