We need to stop melting the Arctic and reaping the floods in this country. Buildings account for about 21% of our total greenhouse gas emissions as measured in 2012, and it's time we adapted our laws to reflect this fact.
Surely the Resident Managers in London don't want to live with the excessive heat any more than their tenants do. Unfortunately, the majority of them can't (or won't) operate their boilers or other heating solutions as the weather dictates - come Hell or high water, it's on until June 15 and back on again on September 15.
Let's send a message that the London city bylaw needs to change. Please forward this petition on to your resident managers.
Stay cool!
Kate
