Newby Landfill Public Nuisance Victims, CalRecycle said they‘ve never rejected any permit application in 30 years, so we need your help to join us to ask CalRecycle to reject Newby Landfill Expansion in order for CalRecycle to make a history record of denying application! City of San Jose thinks since Newby Landfill contributes 32million dollars for application fees, they have no reasons to push the gold mine away, so we need your help to join us to tell them that people’s basic right of breathing unharmed air can’t be traded with money! The BAAQMD has been covered up that they have an authority to issue a permit to Newby Landfill Expansion. Now we found out the BAAQMD had issued a permit to Newby Landfill Expansion over 2 years ago, so we need your help to join us to demand them to invalidate their mistakenly issued permit. Newby Landfill is built up on and next to the wetland which is restricted by the Federal regulation under the reason to protect underground water pollution and prevent from creating environmental hazards to human beings and other species’ lives and health. Sitting on the wetland, Newby landfill should never be built, how dare those government agencies can simply ignore it and give a permit to expand the landfill?
