For the BAAQMD meeting, what best can we get from? We know that the BAAQMD has no authority to close down the landfill, therefore, what we should do is to keep calling the odor complaint number and let Republic can't make profit if they keep running their business on the current location. That will show power of the people who never compromise and give up! We need to ask the BAAQMD to install odor meters in neighborhoods in Milptias, Fremont, San Jose in order to get real time odor detected and recorded which can not be manipulated by Republic or the inspectors. We also need to push BAAQMD to get a integrated real time interactive odor complaint map and wind direction map together and load it on their website for public supervision.
