There is a ban on pit bulls in pg county. The ban has been in place since 1996. Pitbulls have a bad reputation of being aggressive and man eaters. Fact more alcohol and drugs have killed more Americans then a Pitbulls. These are the most loving animals and are also great dogs for comfort or a service animal. Let's not make the breed pay for senseless irresponsibility of careless dog owners. I suffer from mental illness and my dogs never got out they were never unattended nor have they ever attacked anybody. My neighbor was caught spraying my dogs with a water hose in my backyard. My neighbor hates dogs so he called animal control and told them my dogs were not being fed. His white lie caused me to have to give up my comfort dogs. Because they are on the list of ban breeds in the county I live in. Mean while other irresponsible dogs owners in my neighborhood walk they dogs with no leash. One neighbors dog attacked the mail lady which was not a Pitbulls. Let's not ban the breed but make those owners responsible.
