This morning I sent an open letter to Boris Johnson and Matt Hancock following the conclusion of the inquest around the deaths of Averil Hart, Amanda Bowles, Maria Jakes, Emma Brown and Madeline Wallance on Friday 6 November where the coroner said that the care for those with eating disorders was inadequate and that NHS treatment for anorexia patients is "not a safe system" and risks“future deaths”.
The letter has gained cross party support, Mayoral support, celeb support and support from a high number experts in this field.
A full copy of the letter can be found here
And I would love your support in getting this message out there as far as possible! Please do share this far and wide!
People with eating disorders should not be dying in 2020 and it is time we made proper action to prevent this happening!

It is a complete injustice that in 2020 people with eating disorders are still dying because of inadequate care. @MattHancock @BorisJohnson please do read this letter and come up with a proper plan to prevent future deaths #DumpTheScales http://hopevirgo.com/dump_the_scales.html
