Hello everyone!

Me again! I hope you aren't getting sick of all my updates... there is just so much exciting stuff happening and we are at this crucial point with the campaign.

Firstly, I wanted to thank you all for your ongoing support! It really means a lot. The campaign wouldn’t be where it is without you!

Secondly, on 2 March I am holding a photo call / drop in session in Parliament with MPs and Peers! It is so exciting that lots of MPs have confirmed their attendance.

There are two things you can do right now so we can make sure that MPs come along!

1. Tweet your MP. feel free to use the sample tweet right here:

Urgent: [@InsertMPhere], please support @HopeVirgowith her #DumpTheScalescampaign because #eatingdisordersdo not have one look! Will you join her drop in on 2 March between 1& 2pm to show your support for those with #EatingDisorders

Thank you so much for all your support! (Daily updates on the campaign can be found over on my Instagram "hopevirgo_"

Dear XXX,

I am writing to invite you to ask you to attend the Photo Drop In in support of the Dump The Scales Campaign which is campaigning to raise awareness of Eating Disorders, and to keep the measuring of BMI out of diagnoses of Eating Disorders. You will also have a chance to learn more Anorexia from campaign founder and survivor Hope Virgo.

Monday 2 March
Room W3 (Just off Westminster Hall)
1-2pm

Over a million people in the country have suffered from Eating Disorders at some point in their life, but many are not properly diagnosed because they are told by GPs that they are not underweight enough. This only makes the problem worse. We are calling on the government to implement NICE Guidelines around the diagnosis of Eating Disorders, and therefore to not measure the BMI of those seeking treatment. This will be a campaign that resonates with a huge amount of your constituents.

The campaign has received a huge amount of public attention with nearly 100,000 signatures, as well as celebrity support, making headlines on Sky News, the BBC and Sunday Express. On the 28th February Hope will be launching, alongside St Georges Mental Health Trust, a new resource to tackle early intervention and to make sure we take another step forward in ending the injustices that so many people with eating disorders face.

Come and show your support for a campaign that can and will save lives.

We look forward to seeing you there.

Yours Sincerely,
