At this meeting, we will discuss the proposed Prologis warehouse in East Portland, which has raised significant concerns among residents and school officials. Despite the city's commitment to social, racial, and environmental justice, we argue that the warehouse will bring more pollution to the area. Key points from our petition:

• East Portland residents and school officials oppose the construction of a large warehouse in their neighborhood.
• The proposed warehouse would serve as a diesel truck distribution center.
• Critics argue that the warehouse would bring additional pollution, noise, and traffic to an area already suffering from high levels of air pollution.
  The city of Portland has made commitments to social, racial, and environmental justice, but this project seems to contradict those goals.
• Almost 5,000 signatures have been collected on the petition opposing the proposed distribution center.

This community-led meeting will allow residents to voice their concerns and plan further actions.

The meeting's goal is to ensure that community members are up to speed and have a say in the development that impacts their lives and environment.
