From our Facebook page, Claxby Against Fairburn Eggs: Edwin McCracken astutely notes: From the planning application, "L. J. Fairburn and Son Ltd have confirmed that all HGV's will be routed westbound from the site access directly to the A1028. This in turn provides direct access to their local egg packaging and distribution centre. Such will achieve a high level of logistic efficiency whilst avoiding the routing of vehicles through Claxby. Levels of residential amenity afforded by the occupants of this settlement will therefore be safeguarded." We already know this is nonsense, we already have countless trucks coming up and down that road now. These trucks should not be using this road, it is unsuitable. There will be a serious accident, its just a matter of time. The picture shows the 'main highway' in Claxby St Andrew.
