EBTC has mailed out the first DSL bills with the new pricing in place. EBTC has acknowledged that you use 3 times more data streaming media on a 3 Mbps connection than a 1 Mbps connection. Because of this they have reduced the streaming media portion of everyone's bill by 67% for January and February only. Instead of offering people reasonable prices EBTC is allowing people to change their connection speed from 3 Mbps to anything slower at no additional cost. Over 500 people have signed this petition and countless people have called EBTC to express their concerns, but EBTC is still not willing to budge. Please take the time to call every member of the board to let them know how you feel about this issue.
