Residents in Ealing want to make Ealing Council aware of their strong objection to extremely tall proposed developments in the West Ealing area.  Both the Manor Road West 55 development (26 stories) and the Hastings Road Developments (25 stories) are extremely high (planned at over 100m) and entirely out of keeping with the surrounding low level residential terraced housing.  They will cause extensive loss of light, cause significant light pollution and massively infringe on privacy rights of local residents as well as placing strain on already near breaking point public services such as GPs, hospitals and utilities.  They will have a damaging impact on the local environment and traffic/public transport.  We urge the council to reject the current proposals in favour of much lower, less-dense, residential developments.
