First Big Win! MP Mr. Varun Gandhi writes in support of E-Petition

Hello Everyone! Foremost, we would like to thank you for signing the petition on making Parliament more accessible to citizens. It has been a week since we promoted the petition on change.org and it has been an eventful week! We crossed one hundred signatures on our second day which encouraged us to reach out to Members of Parliament for their views and support on our petition. In doing so, we had a successful meeting with Mr. Varun Gandhi, Member of Parliament, Sultanpur and he supported us on our aim to put in place the online petition system. Giving further thrust to the movement, Mr. Gandhi has written a letter to the Lok Sabha Speaker Ms. Sumitra Mahajan and the Parliamentary Affairs Minister Mr. Venkaiah Naidu explaining the Online Petition system and its merits. This is a big moment for all of us! As we write this, we are reaching out to more Members of Parliament to generate debate about the reform. This is just the beginning of a long journey and you will know more as we move ahead.
