Problem
The problem is that people don't feel safe on or near roads because of the poor standard of driving going on within our communities. This poor driving is evidenced through the damage observed to structures beside roads and through the road traffic accident statistics!
Improving driving standards through (CDP) continual driving proficiency will prevent mortalities.

Solution
I want put in place (CDP) continual driving proficiency. This is a refresher course which all drivers must take to ensure safe driving standards. This is similar to (CPD) continual professional development which ensures safe up-to-date work standards. These prevent poor standards and prevent deaths.
CDP can be completed online but under invidulation as with CPD.

Personal story
I have created this petition in memory of my much beloved Aunt who was tragically killed by a dangerous driver outside her home on Saturday 10th of November 2018 at 8pm. My angel of an aunt suffered catastrophic injuries and was left on life support for one week at the QEUH. My aunt dedicated her every moment in life to making life better for everyone she met & strangers through charity. A much loved Mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, neighbour and home help. We have all been robbed of a truly wonderful lady. We are all heart broken & we all want some kind of justice. The only justice I can think of is through preventing such tragedy from occuring in future. I am calling for safer driving standards. The women who killed my aunt could have performed a simple emergency stop as oppose to swerving into my aunt who was not on the road or in her original path.
