80,000 of you signed for Matthew, now I need you one more time.

ALMOST 80,000 OF YOU SIGNED FOR MATTHEW ❤️
NOW I NEED YOU ONE MORE TIME
Hello everyone,
Firstly, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Nearly 80,000 of you signed my petition for Matthew’s Law.
Because so many of you stood with me and helped me fight for change, we have been heard.
The Law Commission is now looking at the very issue I have been fighting to change — what happens when someone culpably fails to seek medical assistance and a person dies.
This is a huge opportunity for Matthew’s Law.
But now I need those 80,000 voices one more time.
❤️ PLEASE SHARE YOUR VIEWS WITH THE LAW COMMISSION

THIS TAKES YOU STRAIGHT TO THE OFFICIAL LAW COMMISSION CONSULTATION OVERVIEW PAGE:
Scroll to the bottom where it says [SHARE YOUR VIEWS WITH THE LAW COMMISSION]
IT IS MUCH EASIER THAN IT LOOKS!
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO COMPLETE THE WHOLE CONSULTATION.
Please follow these simple steps:
1️⃣ Click the link above.
2️⃣ Scroll to the bottom of the Overview page.
3️⃣ Click “Share your views”.
4️⃣ Complete the required “About you” section.
5️⃣ Then go STRAIGHT TO CHAPTER 10 – “Other homicide offences”.
6️⃣ The question I particularly need you to respond to is QUESTION 14 – about a culpable failure to seek medical assistance or intervention where someone dies.
7️⃣ Write what YOU think in your own words and submit your response.
THAT’S IT ❤️
You do not need to answer all of the other chapters or questions.
Please don’t be put off when you see the size of the consultation.
Your own opinion matters. You don’t need to be a lawyer and you don’t need to use legal language.
You could simply explain why you believe someone should not be able to stand by and fail to seek medical assistance when another person’s life is clearly in danger.
Think about what you believe:
Should there be a law when someone culpably fails to get medical help for another person and that person dies?
Could having that law encourage somebody to pick up the phone and call 999 — and potentially save a life?
Please tell the Law Commission what YOU think and why.
Nearly 80,000 of you have already stood beside me and said that something needs to change.
You signed the petition.
You helped get Matthew’s Law this far.
Now I need you to turn your signature into a voice.
If even a large number of those 80,000 people respond to this consultation, we can show just how strongly the public feels about this gap in our law.
PLEASE DON’T LEAVE IT UNTIL LATER.
The consultation closes on 30 SEPTEMBER 2026.
Once you’ve submitted your response, please share this update with your family and friends and ask them to share their views too.
Every response matters.
Every voice matters.
And one day, one phone call could save somebody’s life.
For Matthew ❤️
Forever 21 ❤️
Thank you for continuing to stand beside me.
