There was a hearing scheduled for this past Monday (Dec 19) in which the judge was going to be asked to consider a petition from the DA's office requesting that one of the alleged assailants be charged as an adult. The hearing has been rescheduled for early January. Now, BOTH alleged assailants are scheduled to have these hearings in January. This petition will be delivered to the DA's office overseeing the juvenile cases on Wednesday, Dec 28.
