Please meet at the school trees this Sunday 26th March at 3:15pm

I have proposed a design that keeps two trees and I have asked to speak to the Principal and Board of Trustees, but I need your help.
Hello and thank-you for signing the petition. It is very important to have your voice heard and I am asking that anyone in Hillcrest and adjoining communities, who wish to save at least two of the trees, to come along this Sunday, 26th March at 3:15pm. There is a reason for the specific timing that will be revealed on the day, but feel free to gather in the shade of the trees anytime between 3pm and 3:15pm.
Because Willow Park School is a public school, funded by the Ministry of Education, it is a taxpayer funded amenity with statutory obligations and you have every right to voice your concern about the shade trees even if you are not a parent of children currently attending the school.
If you are a current parent of the school, it would be great to see you on Sunday from 3pm and get your input and support.
The current situation is I have asked to meet with the Board of Trustees with a proposed plan that keeps two shade trees. It is a design that blends the original, beautiful July 2021 plan (that kept three trees) with the final November 2021 plan (that removes all the trees). It does not halt the project, or cost any more money, but just changes it to keep two trees and mitigate drain blockages from leaf litter. A win-win situation if Duncan and the Board will listen to us.
Awesome July 2021 design with trees, a new slide, keeps some of the old structures and adds colourful new equipment:

Rubber, plastic shade sail November 2021 design with no slide and mostly all climbing, balancing equipment and two saplings (not mature) trees:

Let's talk about this on Sunday!
