City Council Meeting this Wednesday, June 22nd! Please attend!

The City Council meeting that will discuss granting Duke Energy permission to vacate the public alleyways on the proposed site is scheduled for this Wednesday. Please consider attending if you want your voice to heard! City Council Hearing June 22 @7:30PM start time (est. 8:30PM Duke agenda item – see below) City Hall Council Chambers (401 N Morton St) The Duke Energy proposal will be not be presented on the City Council agenda until 8:30 or 9 pm. Come join others interested in an alternate proposal for the Duke Substation. We will be gathering at Upland Brewery at 7:30 pm to discuss the issue, get caught up on updates, and meet others also supporting this initiative. We will monitor the meeting progress and walk or drive over to City Hall together when the agenda reaches this item.
