An important milestone

I was out walking this afternoon in old Dublin and took this picture from the sidewalk in front of the library looking east. You can see the new mixed-use commercial buildings going up in the foreground on the left, the residential condominiums behind that, and across the river the Bridge Park mixed-use area. This is the context for the new library and the neighborhood that the new building "fits" into. It will be an exciting new era for Dublin. Thanks for signing the build the library petition. We are at 195 signatures. Think of it -- if just every person who has already signed could get just ONE more person to sign, we could have nearly 400 signatures. Who could that be? A spouse. A friend. Neighbor. Coworkers. Children who use the library. There are many possibilities. Our grassroots campaign is near this milestone after just 11 days, with no advertising -- just word of mouth and social networking.
