The Arc of New London County had provided youth summer camps for special needs children.  They recently completely eliminated ALL youth summer camps and now only offer camps for adults.  My 10 year old son, along with many other special needs children, loved this place and were very much looking forward to this summer.  Camp Harkness is particularly unique in that it has a special needs ocean beach.  There is nothing else like this available for youth.  Please join me in challenging the state of Connecticut to provide adequate funding to restore these youth summer camps immediately.  This is a very sad situation.  Thank You.
