Dear Supporters,

Thank you all for standing with Michelino Sunseri and supporting the call for a compassionate and common-sense resolution to his federal criminal case. Many of you have reached out for updates, so I wanted to share the latest developments:

• Despite multiple formal offers from Michelino—including proposals for community service and a civil compromise—the Assistant U.S. Attorney has declined to resolve the matter outside of court, apparently at odds with the recent Executive Order on “Fighting Overcriminalization in Federal Regulations.”
• The trial is scheduled for May 20th at 10:30 AM MST at the Clifford P. Hansen Memorial Courthouse, 145 East Simpson Avenue, Jackson, WY 83001.
• The proceedings are open to the public. For those interested, some friends and family will also be gathering at Stillwest Brewery on the evening of May 20th—please feel free to reach out if you'd like to join.
• There’s still time for the U.S. Attorney’s Office to reconsider. If you’d like to help, you can email your representatives using this sample letter and instructions—some Senators and House Reps have already taken action on the case.
