I have been reading all I can about this case & Luigi. I’m fascinated by the movement he started & the context of this story. I’m thrilled we have reached 7K signatures to show that we want the terrorism charge & death penalty dropped immediately!

Regardless of my mixed perceptions & empathy for Luigi Mangione, I believe in his right to a fair trial, not subject to the political & personal agendas of politicians & others with undue influence. The charge of terrorism & death penalty are overreaching, perhaps to induce fear in others regarding pushback to corrupt health insurance practices, as evidenced by Briana Boston's case.

I relate deeply with what I read about Luigi as a chronic illness patient, avid reader, & someone seeking answers about our nation’s flawed systems. I find his writings and social media anecdotes very relatable, all except for any alleged violence, a choice I would grieve for him & his mental state. I sincerely hope he & all prisoners have access to rehabilitative mental & physical healthcare.
