Hello everyone! Its been a while...like over a year!

I just wanna say to everyone a huge thanks for all the signatures so far. The HTTYD fandom love is still growing.

Due to current events, I have WAY more time on my hands to update yall on the petition & news on HTTYD.

So since my last update, there have been more developments regarding the franchise. 

1.) The 3rd & final HTTYD film How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World premiered in the US in January 2019. The film received both financial & critical success with a 90% rating on Rotten Tomatoes & grossed approx $552 million worldwide. The film was also nominated for multiple awards including Best Animated Feature at the Academy Awards ( but lost to TS4). Still, this film was truly a perfect note to end on for this amazing franchise. I cried way too much during that ending. 

2.) One thing that's a step further for this campaign is this piece of news. To promote the final film, Universal Studios Florida ACTUALLY created a walk-a-round Toothless character to have photo ops with for a limited time. *Throwback to when I asked for a Toothless meet & greet. So I consider this a WIN! Although, we still need a Hiccup.

3.) In December of 2019, an animated holiday special titled How To Train Your Dragon: Homecoming was released on NBC. The short follows Hiccup's family along with Toothless' celebrating Snoggletog. 

4.) As of April 2020, no new developments have been made about a potential HTTYD attraction. While some new merch from the 3rd film has arrived, nothing has really enticed Universal to create an attraction just yet. Hopefully, once the recent events subside we will get a possible announcement. For now, that is all the updates.
