Anti-GMO is NEITHER anti-science NOR pro-starvation

Make no mistake! The anti-GMO folks are pitched against jargon (and venom..) spewing plant biotechnologists across the world who seem to speak for God himself when they say the GEAC's evaluation of GM Mustard is immaculate & that all GMO foods are perfectly safe and are the only hope for feeding ever growing world population. Why? many of these pro-GMO & self-labelled pragmatists have even gone to the extent of saying that whoever opposes GMO food crops is actually anti-science & pro-starvation! As a counter to the ridiculously simplistic & diversionary GM Mustard FAQs the MOEFCc* put-up in addition to my own 10 pointed questions, the anti-GMO group IndiaGMinfo.Org published a comprehensive list of FAQs left unanswered** by GEAC/ MOEFCc - Go through both & let me know if you think the GOI is playing a fair game. Like I responded to one of the aforementioned scientists putting down a GMO opposer as being a non-scientific naysayer; "Genetic modification does irreversibly change the plant transcriptome in the presence of an enabling trigger (read: Herbicide = Glufosinate) and no one crop-science company has bothered to conduct post marketing, post consumption trials across a generation at least to understand the possibly unintended but underestimated long-term negative consequences. Also, there is this selective quoting of statistics when it comes to the toxins/ metabolites that form within the plant biomass thus moving the argument away from practically possible tolerance limits when a plant become herbicide tolerant. Is this lack of data integrity and lack of transparency good science? I disagree with you that being anti-GMO is being pro-famine....or pro-hunger. GMOs as on date are NOT for food-security they are more for security of the agri-input business model perpetuated by the top crop-science corporates.
