On May 14th, 2019 around 9:00 pm, a group of Wekiva High School seniors permissively entered the high school campus to conduct a senior prank under the impression that the teachers, administrators, and faculty were aware. Police were contacted and now several seniors are facing legal charges over a traditional, harmless senior prank. Additionally, 80 plus senior are now being stripped of their privilege to walk across the stage on graduation day. Majority students are First-Generation Graduates and now families are also being stripped of the opportunities to congratulate their graduates. With this petition, we hope to gain back our privilege and honor to walk across the stage on graduation day, May 25th, 2019.
