On Wed. 8/18 the BESE board will decide whether to allow individual districts to ignore the mask mandate. They are getting a lot of pressure from the anti-masker crowd and need to hear from those of us that want to keep the mandate in place!
Call & Email BESE Members & Sup. Brumley BEFORE the meeting on Wed. urging them to respect the mask mandate and also enact other accountability measures to keep Louisiana kids & schools safe!

3. ATTEND THE BESE MEETING AND TESTIFY
The BESE Board will meet on Wednesday 8/18 at 9am in rm 100 of the Claiborne Bldg. There will be an opportunity for members of the public to explain why we want to keep the mask mandate and other important safety measures in place. This meeting is expected to draw a large crown of opposition. Come prepared for the meeting to run long and be very full.
