I have had a very positive meeting with Angela Smith MP today to raise the issue of community policing in Deepcar and Stocksbridge . 

She will be meeting with District Commander for Sheffield, Chief Superintendent Stuart Barton again soon to put forward our comments.

The increased police presence while the main road was closed has been a positive move.  There may be a chance to make this permanent.
