The USS Arizona Unknown Project is in jeopardy by Veterans Committee House Democrats who are ALL projected to vote NO on funding the project. It's truly hard to believe we are here, that the Veterans Committee could honestly care less about our nations WWII heroes currently buried in unknown graves in the Punchbowl Cemetery in Honolulu, Hawaii.
The vote is tomorrow, and we need your help NOW more than ever. Reach out to Chairman Tokano and express your extreme dismay that the Veterans Committee is showing so little care about our nation’s veterans. This vote puts a VERY dangerous precedent on the books... one that says... if our military members die in conflict and their remains are not brought home, the Veterans Committee and DPAA will do nothing to bring them home and identify them.
Not only does this show a seriously lack of judgement by the Democrats voting, it shows that our Military members mean so little to them. Right now, our nation is suffering from a huge downturn in military recruitment. Why would anyone want to serve if they know they may not be returned home in the event something happens to them?
We beg you to call Chairman Takano and voice your SERIOUS outrage with their projected NO vote. This is our last chance to bring these men home!
