A Win for the Ambassador Program Last Night, and Work Still to Do!

Dear Petition Supporters--

Thank you for your work over the last two weeks to let the city board know Little Rock needs a robust Ambassador program! Last night the board adopted a resolution to include $500,000 for a Downtown Ambassador program in the 2023 budget.  

During the discussion, several board members talked about hearing from many constituents on this issue, so be assured our work is paying off. However, we aren’t done yet.  
The Mayor and City Manager still need to find the funding to include it in the budget. One potential source of additional revenue mentioned last night is from the Advertising & Promotion Commission, which meets today to consider contributing to the program.
